​D.O. came to me for a consultation. ‘He  hides behind his computer and is addicted to games and playstation. He was always whingy as a child, crying on your lap, playing the victim card. He was great playing the fooball until recently. He has a wheeze in his chest and can’t get his breath. Now he doesn’t want to train or play the matches’, reports Dad.
‘Coaches are shouting at you to keep moving all the time. All that shouting.’ D.O. says, ‘I have been training, running every day and then at a match, the shouting and my breaths goes. I am wheezing. They think I am unfit but I am not’.

What are you like when you are Angry?
‘Shut up is the first word to come out of my mouth!’.
‘I am not a morning person at all. Mum chats in the morning and that drives me mad. I wish she wasn’t there and just leave me alone. I’d be angry in the car, then in school I don’t think about it and switch off. I’d come home as if nothing happened in the morning time’.
What about School?
‘Junior cert. I get C’s, D’s and E’s ‘
‘I feel the nerves in the stomach, cold inside’
‘I am focused for the junior cert’.
‘I am neat when I am in control, I’d like a spotless house but I clean once a month my room and forget about it again’.
What way do you get Coughs/Colds/Flu?
‘Starts with sneezing, dripping nose, burning’.
‘Sore throat, bloated stomach, top of the chest, sore, tight, cough, cough no discharge’.

Anything different happening in your life?
‘Mum and Dad are breaking up. I was so surprised when they said they were breaking up’. Mum started crying, my brother was crying too, me, I was crying and Dad didn’t’. Few months I got used to it. Dad comes daily’.
Do you Dreams?
‘Always forget them’.
‘When I was 10yrs old I dreamed of falling off buildings, dying, being on fire, end of the world’.

‘I fell out with a friend a few weeks ago. He is the main leader in the group. He is always involved with ‘stuff’ in the group. All the fellas fell out with him. Anyway, he said he was sorry to everyone for the trouble he caused. It turned out well’.
‘ My nails are growing!’
‘I loose it with Mum now and then. I take my tired feelings out on her. I feel I try now. She says she likes it when I try.’

D.O. continued to come to me intermittently in the following year when things were stressful. He had his Constitutional Remedy to take on those occasions. I haven’t seen him now for a number of years.
