A Case of Psorineum Homeopath Edel Bolger O’Hora

​F.O. came to me aged 3yrs with curly blond hair, blue eyes and is very independent. 
Anamnesis
‘At one years F.O. was always chesty. No high temperatures. The doctor said he has asthma and he is on inhalers now. I brought him to a paediatrician and he gave him a decongestant, ‘singulair’. He was allergic to that.  He isn’t on inhalers at the moment but he is chesty every night.’

Family Anamnesis
Dad has history of hayfever and allergies. There is no history on the maternal side of hayfever or allergies.
Findings at First Visit
Tonsils
‘He was healthy until 6 months. Then he was teething and he had big tonsils. When that happens he gets a high temperature. The G.P. gives him antibiotics.’
‘He is worse between 2 to 4am’
‘He is constantly rubbing his nose. He is stuffed but no discharges’
‘He is thirsty’
Chesty
‘He sounds chesty all the time but the doctor says his lungs are clear’.
Mood
‘In a bad mood he sits down and kicks, roars and shouts. But it doesn’t last long. He kisses and makes up easily.’
‘He is not toilet trained yet. Showing a little interest only.’
Eczema
‘He had eczema as a baby behind the left knee that was red, scaly and circular. He still had a little bit of it’.
