A Mum Feels Stress Too!

A 40 year old mother of 3 boys came to me after Christmas a number of years ago.  She has a part time job in the mornings and juggles her schedule around the children’s activities and schooling. Her husband is very supportive and he does long hours himself to support the family’s income.

Observations
Dark Eyes and complexion, well built lady, pale today.
Dialogue 
‘I haven’t been well since last Christmas. I got a virus then and I seem to have the effects of it since. It starts with my arms getting weak and heavy. I am doing the operation transformation at the moment. You know running/walking 5 miles a day’.
‘Then at the end of February I got an ear infection on the right hand side, with popping and soreness. The doctor did bloods and discovered I was anaemic. I took iron tablets and that was sorted.'
‘Then in March I just collapsed. So badly that I took to the bed and my husband had to look after the kids and the house. I had pains everywhere, under my arms in the lymph nodes and in the groins too. My pains moved to the muscles which became hot first and then travelled up the body. I went to the Hospital. They found nothing’.
How are you now?
‘I have sinus on the right side. I feel the sinus when I walk. I don’t want to walk because my head feels heavy and sore, I feel every movement. The right nostril is sore and burnng as if I feel every breath in and out. My right eye twitches and I have a smell up my nose like sulphur. I have a postnasal drip at the back of my throat that tastes horrible.’
‘I get sinus from time to time over my lifetime. Usually in the Summer and cold, wet winds in the winter’.
‘The roof of my mouth is burning at the moment. I have had root canal treatment and I still had to get my tooth out at the end of it all. I feel disappointed about that.
How is your mood?
‘I feel really down in myself. The doctor has me on a tablet so I can sleep at night. I am really sensitive. I worry about everything. You know, I cry at a sad movies’.
‘My dreams are anxious as if something is going to happen. I wake up with heart palpitations, as if I can’t let it go of bad things happening’.
How is your periods?
‘It is every 28 days regularly. I do get PMT and swelling in the breast area 10 days before the end of the cycle’
How are the bowels?
‘Normal, daily. I had irritable bowel at one stage but I went to a dietition. That helped because I adjusted my diet and took linseed daily. I have no problems presently’.
When you get sick what usually do you complain of?
‘Throat mostly. I feel hands around my throat. It is not tonsils, usually the mouth glands. I did have glandular fever as a teenager. As a child I always felt I had white phlegm in my mouth’.
Anything else?
‘I would have loved a girl child but you don’t always get what you want exactly’.

The gums have improved, noe tenderness, my back is less painful too and I feel warmer in myself. I am sleeping well.

I have better energy and have even been out jogging. My gums are back to normal, no tenderness. I have no dreams now. I sleep through the night.
Conclusion
It is remarkable the progress with this woman. She is positive about herself and her own talents in rearing her boys. Two of her boys, who are also taking Constitutional Remedies are happy with their energy and health. This woman has decided to bring her third child for homeopathic treatment. I can see the vibration of the family become positive with the use of homeopathy.
