The diagnosis of attention deficit and /or hyperactivity and other behavioural disorders is a real world epidemic. A great number of parents are looking for natural alternatives to pharmaceutical drugs usually prescribed to “fix” these problems. My experience of the past 30 years has led me to three conclusions (observations) I would like to share.

(Resonance School of Homeopathy) What does it take to be a homeopathic physician? Hahnemann tells us in Aphorism 83 of the Organon of Medicine. Let's take a look at this brief yet thorough description of what the practitioner must possess to examine a case of disease. Aphorism 83 "This individualizing examination of a case of disease, for which I shall only give in this place general directions, of which the practitioner will bear in mind only what is applicable for each individual case, demands of the physician nothing but freedom from prejudice and sound senses, attention in observing and fidelity in tracing the picture of disease." Let's break down what Hahnemann is really saying here. In the individual examination of disease, he is not talking about disease as a whole but in each and every individual case. There are no two cases ever the same. Some are alike but they are individual to each person. He is saying that we must examine each case individually. Homeopath Edel Bolger O’Hora
F. M. came to see me. She is 65years old and has a grown-up family who are all doing well for themselves. Anamnesis F. M. was adopted and has no family history to share about her original family. Her adoptive family were good people, and she felt loved. Findings at First Visit Character ‘I am on my own within myself. I feel it right in here, sensation in my gut(solar plexus). It feels thumping downwards, there is rejection in my heart, empty sensation, unloved, who am I, anger. I have lack of self-worth, feel unfulfilled. I feel better for the many affirmations from my husband and my children. They encourage me’ Homeopath Edel Bolger O’Hora

In my recent articles I spoke about the definition of health from Dr Samuel Hahnemann’s view point and the action of the homeopathic remedy on the ‘life force’. It is good to review our belief’s at the beginning of the year and adjust them where it is not serving us well. New Year’s Resolutions are all about that good and bad. In this article I will look at some of our own self defeating behaviours that need correcting before a well placed homeopathic remedy can work at all. Aphorism 208 The age of the patient, his mode of living and diet, his occupation, his domestic position, his social relation and so forth, must next be taken into consideration, in order to ascertain whether these things have tended to increase his malady, or in how far they may favour or hinder the treatment. In like manner the state of his disposition and mind must be attended to, to learn whether that presents any obstacles to the treatment, or requires to be directed encouraged or modified. |
