A Young Mother of 3 with Sinus and Chest Problems

​Mary is a 44 year old mother of 3. Married to Mitchel. She is a small stature, freckles and mousy brown hair, blue eyes.
Anamnesis
Mary presented with a history of sinus and chest infections in recent years which were getting less manageable over time. Her nasal steroid spray, ventolin and becatide inhalers were all at maximum dose and she still felt tired, congested and fed up with her own capacity to be resilient to infections.

Family Anamnesis
There is high blood pressure and addictions in the family history from both maternal and paternal sides. There is also a history where one of the Grandparents were actively treated for Tuberculosis in their early adult life.
Findings at First Visit(April)
‘I have sinus most of the time and especially at this time of the year. It has been there since I was 30years and before that when I was a child’. She has a history of polyps and adenoid removal at age 30yrs. ‘The problem remained even after that.’ The symptoms were better for eating onions where her eyes would water ans the sinus relieves itself.
Concomitant symptoms: Mary has a history of sore, throbbing veins on the right side that wake her in the middle of the night. She also has a history of painful menses that comes too soon and is heavy, painful.

‘My sinus headaches are much improved, I still get them but less frequently. I can smell again!. My periods and premenstrual tension is much improved. I have energy and less inclined to be ‘snappy’ at my family. Mitchel and I are talking more too.’
Progress in 2014
Mary continued to do well on her Sepia perscription as I increased the dose to 200C,  allowing freedom from taking daily prescriptions. She worked with her G.P. over the need for perscriptions as used before introducing Homeopathy into her health care choices. Mary also
